In the last years, middle-high range retail chains have replaced local shops. It could evolve in the coming years with the redevelopments planed by Hines and Blackstone in the buildings formerly occupied by a post office and the Luxottica headquarters as well as the "Medelan" project situated at the corner of Piazza Cordusio.
Via con la presenza di buoni marchi che negli ultimi anni si sono uniti ai commercianti tradizionali anche sostituendoli.
