Located north of Marseilles next to the N113, the Grand Littoral regional shopping centre includes a Carrefour hypermarket and a 200-unit shopping arcade (including Zara, Darty, C&A, etc.) as well as a retail park (including Leroy Merlin). This long-denigrated site has gradually established itself in the commercial fabric of Marseilles. It is developing in a positive way. An extension representing 14.180 sqm for 13 medium-sized stores (11.060 sqm) and 17 shops (3.120 sqm) was authorized in October 2005 and opened end 2007. New Yorker opened there its first store in France. Corio acquired the shopping centre from Macif end 2007 for 385 M €. A part of the shopping centre was "remodelled to accomodate the first Primark store in France end 2013 (5.800 sqm).
Situé au nord de Marseille, en bordure de la N113, le centre commercial régional Grand Littoral comprend un hypermarché Carrefour et une galerie marchande de 200 boutiques (dont Zara, Darty, C&A…) et un parc d'activités (dont Leroy Merlin) Progressivement, ce site longtemps dénigré, s’est fait sa place dans le paysage commerçant marseillais. Il connaît une évolution positive. Une extension de 14.1800 m2 comprenant 13 moyennes surfaces (11.060 m2) et 17 boutiques (3.120 m2) avait obtenu le feu vert de la CDEC en octobre 2005 et a été inaugurée fin 2007. New Yorker y a ouvert son premier magasin français. Corio a acheté le centre commercial à Macif pour 385 M € fin 2007. Une partie du centre a été restructurée pour accueillir le premier magasin Primark implanté en France fin 2013 (5.800 m2).
