- Development of a new district initiated by the city of Utrecht, in the western outskirts of the city. In the coming years, 6.000 new housings will be realised. Some 15.000 sqm of retail area are situated at the ground floor of the buildings. Amvest Ballast Nedam and Fortis are the developers of the whole project while Multi Development is the developer of the shopping centre located in the heart of Vleuterweide. It is anchored by two supermarkets (Albert Heijn and Lidl).
