La Bastide Rouge

Initiated by the municipality of Cannes, this project includes on 41.000 sqm an events arena, retail, offices, entertainment areas including a multiplex cinema (designed by Rudy Ricciotti) a bowling and restaurants. It will be one of the component of the future business hub dedicated to multimedia technologies. After a competition, Compagnie de Phalsbourg was selected to develop it. It is located west of the city, in La Bocca, near the Tourrades retail park. The project was authorized by national authorities in June 2009.
Ce projet né à l'initiative de la municipalité de Cannes, inclut sur 41.000 m2 un espace évenementiel, des commerces, des bureaux et un pôle loisirs incluant notamment un cinema multiplexe (conçu par Rudy Ricciotti), un bowling et des restaurants. Ce sera l'une des composantes d'une future technopole dédiée à l'image et au multimedia. A la suite d'un concours, c'est la Compagnie de Phalsbourg qui a été désignée pour développer ce projet. Il est situé à l'ouest de la ville, à la Bocca, à proximité du parc d'activités des Tourrades. Le projet a reçu l'aval de la CNAC en juin 2009.
