- The A-street of Cologne, where are located national and international anchors. The new Peek & Cloppenburg building (14.400 sqm of sales area), the transfer of one of the H&M store (from n°32-34 to 98) which was replaced by S.Oliver (now Rossmann). Halluber replaced Puma Spring 2010. Fielmann opened a 850 sqm optical centre in 2011. End 2011, Bershka replaced Mexx on 1.100 sqm. Karlstadt Sport (relocating from Neumarkt Galerie) replaced Mayersche bookstore. In 2016, Zara took over the former Humanic store, Reserved then replaced Zara. Topshop was about to take over Roland Schuhe at n49 (1.200 sqm) but Topshop froze this project in 2016. Apple occupies the former Pohland store. In 2016, Schildergasse is, according to JLL, the busiest German street with 16.835 passers-by an hour.
