- Liverpool One is the largest retail-led regeneration project in Europe The £900m project on the Paradise Street site will provide around 1.65m sqft of retail space as well as 600 new apartments, 3,000 car parking spaces, two hotels, a bus station and a 14-screen cinema. The first phase opened in May 2008 (85.700 sqm including the Debenhams and John Lewis department stores), the second one October 1st 2008 (including the Odeon Cinema). Pull and Bear opened there its first store in UK. Liverpool One welcomed more than 20 million visitors during its first year and more than 28 M visitors in 2015. In August 2011, Grosvenor acquired from Land Securities the 52-78 Lord Street block to include it in Liverpool One. In 2014 they acquired the ground floor of the One Park West building.
