Avion Shopping Park Ostrava

Avion Shopping Park Ostrava is located in the most populated area of the conurbation, with a primary catchment area of more of 100.000 inhabitants. Anchored by Ikea and Albert hypermarket (formerly Hypernova), it includes a shopping arcade with a great mix of fashion and service retailers and a very good food court. The first extension (6.800 sqm) inaugurated in 2005 linking Ikea to the existing shopping arcade accomodates fashion magnets like C&A, Deichmann, H&M, Mango, Reserved . The second extension linking the shopping hub to Viskovyka street, opened in 2008. It added a further 14.400 sqm GLA (about 40 new units) and 600 underground parking lots. The whole hub then reaches 85.000 sqm GLA. Another extension of 6.200 sqm occured in 2011 , adding some 60 shops with Kika as main tenant. In 2012, a new extension of 24 shops opened. In 2013, a remodelling of a part of the shopping centre took place, permitting the opening of new fashion brands including Zara.
