Krokus

Developed by Mayland, Centrum Handlowe Krokus is situated on the east side of Kraków, heading towards the very densely populated region called Nowa Huta. One of the first shopping centres in Kraków anchored by a Auchan hypermarket (previously Geant and Real). Also a very popular centre for shoppers with some 7.1 milion customers a year. Next door there is also the Aqua Park, and Multikino, which also make it an attractive centre to spend the whole day. A 50.000 sqm extension was under study. Valad Europe was about to set up a joint venture with Unibail-Rodamco to develop it in 2014, but in fact sold Krokus to Mayland in 2016. The Serenada shopping centre (also owned by Mayland) is situated next door to Krokus. NEPI Rockcastle is to buy the two shopping centres and develop an extension to link them.
