- The Aks shopping centre opened in April 2005 with a Carrefour hypermarket (7.800 sqm of sales area) and some 45 shops. This centre is located very close from its main competitor the Silesia City Center which opened in November 2005. However, the centre has high foot traffic especially if someone doesn't want to spend a lot of time in the big shopping centres.
