- Okecie Fryderyk Chopin airport in Warsaw is the main airport for Poland. In 2007 the planned extension to the airport opened, but was fully operational 12 March 2008 (opening of the second terminal, more than 1 year later). This will increase passenger traffic to approx. 12 million per year, the area from 50.000m2 to 150.000m2 and parking from 3000 to 9200 spaces (for both termimals 1 & 2). The Terminal 1 was then closed for complete remodelling. It now accomodates 15 new stores and 10 cafés and restaurants which are managed by HDS Polka (Lagardère Services) for a ten-year term.
